John Leach completed 20 years of service to his country as a Naval Aviator and    

                 Commanding Officer and then entered management in the corporate world.  He  

                 served as a sales and Marketing Manager in the telecommunications industry and

                 later as a project manager in ‘new product development.’  As his promotions

                 continued, he became involved in Tariff Management and Contract Management

                 within the corporation.  Later, he was recruited by another telecommunications

                 company to become their Director of Training and Professional Development.  Over a

                 two year period, John Leach was certified as a trainer, facilitator and coach by Wilson

                 Learning Company, Myers Briggs Company and Coaching International Association.

                Having dedicated over 20 years of leadership training and experience in the military   

                and over 12 years of leadership facilitation and Professional Development in the  

                corporate world, John Leach started his own business in “professional learning

                strategies” in 1993 called John Leach Associates (JLA).

               JLA serves both the private and public sectors in professional development

               specializing in Leadership, Supervision, and Team Building.  In addition to conducting 

               frequent workshops on the clients’ premises, JLA conducts weekend executive retreats

               to address upper management issues in this fast paced, ever changing century. 

               In addition to the major workshops, the most popular customized workshop programs

               include ‘Diversity,’ ‘Change Management,’ ‘ Leadership and Business Culture

               JLA has extensive experience working with government employees both military and

               civil service workers.  John has conducted Leadership and Management training for the

               Navy and Marine civil service for over two years.  One of his major contracts is with

               NASA at the Dryden and Ames Centers where he has conducted Team Building   

               Training for over five years.

              The company is based in San Diego, CA and has recently taken on many new and

              exciting clients including Airports and major international companies, while still working

              with NASA and other government agencies. JLA has conducted international

              workshops in Malaysia, Singapore and Manila. John continues to be the driving force at 

              John Leach Associates as a Certified Inscape DiSC© Consultant and remains an

              expert in practical application and executive facilitation.
